You will soon be able to use WhatsApp on multiple devices with the same number

A new clue unearthed in the source code of version 2.20.196.8 (beta) of WhatsApp further confirms already insistent rumors: the instant messaging application can be used on several devices simultaneously.

Enjoying the WhatsApp service on both your primary and secondary phones, or even on your tablet, seems to be on the books of Facebook, its owner. WABetaInfo indeed highlights a new feature called “Linked Devices”, unearthed in the source code of version 2.20.196.8 (beta) of the platform.

A new welcome feature
This new functionality would then fill a lack long criticized by the community: the inability to use the application on several devices simultaneously. Your WhatsApp account is in fact linked to a smartphone and a SIM card, and cannot be launched on another terminal ( tablet or smartphone).
