The Your Phone app continues to gain functionality. Announced for the first time in August, the “Calls” mode from a computer is now available (and gradually deployed). An added weight in the connectivity between an Android phone and a Windows PC.

As Android Police reports , Microsoft has been rolling out its new feature for several weeks. With a few clicks, a user can now make a call (or decline it) directly from their computer. It is also possible to continue a voice conversation from the PC to the phone, and vice versa.

The Your Phone application is therefore enhanced with call management. A considerable lack, which is now filled after several months of experimentation with Windows 10 users “Insiders”. This update also adds the call history.

Like phones, your computer’s speakers (or headphones) act as a speaker, the numeric keypad is available on the right of the screen, and the interface is optimized for laptops. Small Windows bonus: your Android wallpaper will be swapped on the application, slightly modified with an acrylic filter. Why not.

For now, the application still suffers from several bugs which delay its deployment on a larger scale. As for iPhone users, it will probably be necessary to be satisfied with the existing services. Several restrictions on third-party services on iOS limit this kind of use. The firm will also not make things easier for Microsoft.
