Samsung’s Galaxy S11 (tentative name) appeared on the benchmark website Geekbench.

The Galaxy S11 model number captured by Geekbench is SM-G986B and is believed to be a 5G variant. The specs show the Exynos 990 chipset (Exynos 9830), 12GB of RAM, and run on the Android 10 operating system.

Samsung has 12GB of RAM only in the 1TB storage version of the Galaxy S10 series. However, the version with 12GB of RAM is expected to increase in the Galaxy S11 series.

The benchmark score is lower than Exynos 9825. This is because the product used in the benchmark is a prototype that is not optimized for hardware and software. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S11 series will be cross-mounted with the Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets, depending on the region.

However, it is unclear whether 12GB of RAM will be installed in the LTE model. According to Sam Mobile, LTE and 5G models will have different storage options. As the 5G models are offered in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, and the LTE models are expected to be available in 128GB and 512GB, the RAM configuration may vary.
