Samsung Electronics’ 2017 flagship smartphone ▲ Galaxy S8 ▲ Galaxy S8 Plus ▲ Galaxy Note 8 is unlikely to receive the Android 10 update.

To date, four countries have released the Android 10 roadmap: Israel, China, India, and the Philippines. You can’t find the Galaxy S8 series and Galaxy Note 8 names on the roadmap. The Galaxy S8, powered by Android 10, was picked up on the benchmark website Geekbench in October.

Samsung only offers major Android OS updates twice for all mobile products, regardless of flagship or low-cost. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 were released in March and August 2017, respectively, and have received Android Oreo and Pi updates.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics has been distributing official updates for testers who participated in the Galaxy S10 Android 10 based One UI 2.0 beta program since last month.
