Samsung India resumes pushing Android 10 One UI 2 system update

Samsung announced that it would stop launching Android 10 and One UI 2.x system updates for its devices in India because India has adopted nationwide blockade measures to resist the spread of coronavirus . Foreign media SamMobile reported that now that the Indian government has lifted many lockout restrictions, Samsung seems to be finally ready to start operations again.

After Samsung’s software update was interrupted, the first device to receive Android 10 update in India was the Galaxy Tab S6. The Galaxy Tab S6 LTE tablet received the One UI 2.1 update. IT House was informed that the One UI 2.1 update for smartphones with pre-installed Android 10 (such as Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy A51) will also be updated at the end of May or early June.

Samsung ’s resumption of launching Android 10 in India is undoubtedly good news, especially for Galaxy A50 users. A few months ago, the Samsung Galaxy A50 India Edition has received Android 10, but due to a series of problems, the update was undone. A customer representative of Samsung India told A50 users that an error-free update will be issued after the COVID-19 blockade period, and it is only a matter of time before Samsung honors this promise.
