Samsung has ceased development of Linux on Dex and can no longer continue to run in Android 10.

Samsung has been boasting a lot since the first DeX Station debuted with the Galaxy S8 that it will be able to use full Linux and have been tested seriously since the end of last year as Linux on DeX.

After just 11 months, Samsung sent a letter to the test participants to inform them that the project has ceased development. And cannot be used on Android 10. Anyone who updates to mobile devices will no longer be able to use features that they previously used.

Since launching for testing, Linux on DeX has never received a major update to fix the feature in question. And the number of users is expected to not be much In April, on the Play Store, there were only 5,000 installers

Considered another unfortunate news after Samsung advertised a lot. And close the project stubbornly When testing Android 10 like this Considered quite a bit disappointing
