Recently, Samsung Galaxy M40 ushered in a new firmware update with software version number M405FDDU1ASG2. The update file includes improvements to the camera and face recognition features as well as the June security patch. The 378.40MB update also includes a Blu-ray filter. Surprisingly, this filter did not appear when the Galaxy M40 was released. Samsung said that the update document also includes improvements to device stability. However, this update still does not add the Bixby Routines feature to the Galaxy M40, but the lower-priced Galaxy A50 has this feature.The current version of the update has been launched in succession and is expected to take a week or two to push.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch Full HD + Infinity-O LCD display with a third-generation Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is also equipped with a 2GHz eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mobile processor, complemented by the Adreno 612 GPU. Samsung Galaxy M40 also uses a 6GB RAM + 128GB body storage storage solution and supports expansion to 512GB through microSD card. The device comes preloaded with Android 9.0 Pie, using Samsung’s self-developed One UI.

In terms of lens, the Samsung Galaxy M40 uses a rear three camera, including a 32MP main camera with LED flash, a 5 megapixel depth sensor and an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with a front 16 megapixel camera. It uses rear-mounted fingerprint recognition and also has a built-in 3,500mAh battery and supports fast charging.
