Qualcomm releases two 4G SoCs: Snapdragon 662 and Snapdragon 460: up to 70% performance improvement

In addition to Snapdragon 720G, Qualcomm also brought two Snapdragon 662 and Snapdragon 460 SoCs in India this morning. It also natively supports Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-frequency GNSS positioning, and Indian regional navigation system NavIC.

It uses 11nm process, 4 + 4 8-core Kryo 260 design, the main frequency is up to 2.0GHz, integrated Adreno 610 GPU and Hexagon 683 DSP, Spectra 340T ISP single shot up to 48 million pixels, also optimized for three shots to ensure smooth, Supports HEIF format pictures.

In other aspects, it integrates the X11 LTE baseband (downstream up to 390Mbps), supports UFS 2.1 flash memory, LPDDR3 / LPDDR4X memory, QC 3.0 fast charge, etc.

Finally, Snapdragon 460 (SM4250-AA), 11nm process, 8-core Kryo 240, 1.8GHz, GPU integrated Adreno 610, DSP integrated Hexagon 683, compared to Snapdragon 450, the former has 70% higher CPU performance and GPU performance 60%.

The ISP is Spectra 340, with a single camera of up to 25 million pixels and a maximum of three cameras, integrated X11 LTE baseband (390Mbps), support for UFS 2.1 flash memory, LPDDR3 / LPDDR4X memory, QC 3.0 fast charge, etc.

According to Qualcomm, so far, there are more than 85 commercial devices for the Snapdragon 7 series platform, more than 1,600 for Snapdragon 6 series, and more than 2,500 for Snapdragon 4 series.
