The Jenner Institute at Oxford University in the UK is accelerating the development of a new coronavirus infection (corona19) vaccine.
According to foreign media on the 29th, the Zener Research Institute has already completed a vaccine test on animals and is preparing for a clinical trial on humans.
The vaccine developed by the Jenner Research Institute is ‘ChAdOx1 nCoV-19’, an intramuscular injection method that injects coronavirus DNA into somatic cells. Last month, researchers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) said that six monkeys were inoculated with the vaccine made by the Zener Institute and exposed to the Corona19 virus, which kept them healthy.
In addition, as a result of last year’s experiments with SARS (SARS, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS (MERS, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome), which are the same as Corona 19, they proved that their vaccine was harmless to the human body.
The researchers said, “If there is a major clinical trial in May and the approval of the regulatory authorities is insufficient, we will be able to develop millions of vaccines as early as September.”
