OnePlus has released a software update for its latest series of smartphones. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are getting new software to fix a number of issues, including shades of green at lower brightness and the touch sensitivity of the touchscreen on the edges.
The new software is immediately sent to owners of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, but as usual, it may take a while for everyone to receive the update. The changelog, which was put online by Android Police, shows that a large number of problems must be solved. For example, OnePlus reports on improving the display. It seems to be a problem with grays on low brightness: they were shown as green for many users. Experience from Android Police shows that this problem has been partially resolved with the new software.

OnePlus has also improved the sensitivity of the touchscreen. Users of the OnePlus 8 Pro had reported problems on the edges of the screen, where too often a touch was detected. The touchscreen should now be less likely to detect a touch at the edges, making it less likely to translate a short-term touch that a user accidentally makes to input.
In addition, the camera has received a number of improvements. For example, the white balance has been improved and the stability of the camera must be better. Finally, the OnePlus 8 Pro has received a modified interface for Bedtime mode.
