MediaTek announced a partnership with Intel today, after which it will help develop 5G modules for use in notebooks that use Intel chips.

After this, both companies will work together to develop the next generation notebooks to connect to 5G to push us into the age of the internet as efficient and fast as never before. One of the first to benefit from this partnership is Dell and HP, a rigorous Intel partner for many decades.It is expected that the module used in the 5G chip will be the same Helio M70 module released in May. MediaTek tomorrow will show the built-in 5G modem chip for notebooks. Based on Intel chips and with a MediaTek 5G modem, will be available for sale in early 2021 onwards.
