According to foreign media reports, there is news that GPD will release WIN 2 Max this year. The new model will be equipped with a higher resolution 1280 x 800 screen, a new AMD APU with integrated Radeon graphics, and a larger Keyboard.

According to reports, GPD is one of the first companies to offer handheld micro PCs running Windows 10 and similar to portable game consoles. The Hong Kong-based company offers a diverse lineup of handheld devices, including the Pocket Series designed for general use, the WIN series optimized for Windows games, and the XD series for more advanced Android gaming phones. Last year, GPD introduced the WIN 2 model, which is popular with portable PC enthusiasts, and it seems that the company is already developing the WIN 2 Max version. This information was disclosed by a GPD employee.

The exact specifications of the new WIN 2 Max device are currently unknown, however, according to Reddit user Baokeyuan, the upcoming 2019 model is expected to offer a better display and new CPU/GPU. Compared to the 6-inch screen in WIN 2, WIN 2 Max does not use the existing 1280 x 720 screen, but a slightly better 1280 x 800 display.
