Google today released the Android security patch for February 2019 for Pixel users , which resolved multiple security vulnerabilities and fixed many vulnerabilities recently reported by users. The February 2019 Android security patch is currently being pushed to all supported Google devices, including 2019-02-01 and 2019-02-05 security levels, for Android frameworks, libraries and systems, and the kernel, Nvidia And the Qualcomm component has fixed 42 security vulnerabilities. In the security bulletin, “The most serious security vulnerability is the critical security vulnerability that exists in the Framework, allowing remote attackers to use proprietary PNG files to gain privilege and execute arbitrary code.” Surprisingly The Android security patch for February 2019 does not include any security patches specific to Pixel devices, but Google said this release brings several feature updates and improvements to various components in its Linux-based mobile operating system.
