Google officially launched a new “streamlined” application Gallery Go, the photo application provides a lot of features of the Google Photos application, while maintaining a small size.

Gallery Go was released at Google for Nigeria, which focuses on offline use. The app is designed for the Android Go platform, an ultra-lightweight operating system for devices that sell for less than $100 in emerging markets.

Although only 10MB in size, Gallery Go still offers many features of Google Photos, including automatic photo finishing, editing tools, and even automatic photo enhancements. The app is more for first-time smartphone users who don’t have access to high-speed Internet or may not be able to use a desktop backup solution.Another important benefit is that Gallery Go also supports micro SD cards, which is more common on low-end devices.

This app is available for all devices running Android 8.1 or higher, and will be pre-installed as the default photo app on the Nigerian Itel S15 and A55 smartphones starting next month.
