Samsung Electronics is expected to release the official version of One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series at the end of this month or early next month, the overseas media Sam Mobile reported on the 11th (local time).

The Galaxy S21 series has received a total of 4 beta firmware so far. A fourth beta was released last week with several bug fixes.

According to the report, a person in charge of Samsung Electronics’ community beta operation said, “There is no beta 5th firmware, and we plan to provide an official firmware that corrects errors that occurred in the 4th version.”

Although Samsung Electronics did not specifically mention the timing of distribution, it is expected that distribution will begin at the end of this month at the earliest.

OneUI 4.0 version features an improved user interface (UI) design, improved performance, improved privacy and security, and a color theme system inspired by Google Material You.

It also includes improved genuine apps such as Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard, and all ads included in genuine apps have been removed.
