Here we summarize a year’s worth of content, to sum up, our opinion on the best hardware we tested. We also want to talk about the worst trends and disappointments in this industry. This episode focuses on the best gaming GPUs of 2019 and offers categories such as overall, top-level, best mod support, and best budget overall. Nvidia and AMD have been flooding cards on warehouse shelves for the past 11 months, but they’re finally calming down and coming. It’s time to revisit the best GPU of 2019 with all the links in the description below for each card. We have already posted two year-end summaries. One is for the best case in 2019 and the other is for the best CPU in 2019. Now you are back with the best GPU. To remind you of this content type, our focus is to help people build systems with quick references so they can test for a year. We will not cover the data-centric approach in-depth, but rather quickly cover the stack more quickly. If you want in-depth analysis or test data for one of these devices, check out our year-round review. We’ll also talk a bit about partner models, but “Best X” will focus on the GPU itself (made by AMD or NVIDIA). Check the “Best RX 5700 XT” coverage for the most recent partner summary.

Top All: RX 5700
XT Find AMD RX 5700 XT on Amazon (Sapphire Pulse)

Our first prize is Best Overall, which is assigned based on competitive pricing, superior performance in most game scenarios, overclocking support and partner card selection. In total, we will provide this to the RX 5700 XT GPU.rx 5700 xt pulse knight we talk about direct performance, the obvious winner will be the Titan RTX or RTX 2080 Ti. However, they have called up a budget for most user bases. The RTX 2070 Super will also mention performance in the following categories, but in this category, we are considering the cost-effectiveness of the GPU, partner ecosystem, and enthusiast modding support. The RX 5700 XT has a variety of partner model card ecosystems with excellent options at a price similar to MSRP. For example, the RX 5700 XT Pulse is one of the best options on the market for 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K games, but it has a close relationship with MSRP and costs about $ 420. At the time of writing, we saw an option for $ 410. The RTX 2070 Super offers better performance but is generally more expensive in the $ 500 range. I don’t think any additional performance improvements are worth it for many users.1 40dba GPU PowerColor red devil review2 40dba gddr6 Powercolor red devil reviewThe 5700 XT gets Best Overall with enthusiast modding support. We will talk more about the RX 5700 later. Like the 5700, this card can be tuned with Radeon PowerPlay Tables despite AMD’s attempts at locking, so it’s a fun project card for lovers who want to enjoy more with frequency and voltage. In fact, the $ 40,000 4K game with excellent graphics settings and high frame rates is what AMD is proud of this generation. As a bonus mention, although AMD is not particularly superior to NVIDIA in power efficiency (even if process shrinking is preferred over NVIDIA), Navi GPUs are approaching parity for the first time in many generations.

The most rounded: RTX 2070
Super Find NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super on Amazon (Gigabyte Windforce)

Our next prize is the highest award. Most Well-Rounded’s have to mix advanced gaming support, especially at higher resolutions, along with the overall variety of GPUs. This includes performance in non-game applications such as streaming, encoding, and acceleration of professional applications.f1 18 1080p 1660 super reviewhitman2 dx11 1440p 1660 super-review most rounds go to the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super. The 2070 Super offers a higher price point than the 5700 XT and isn’t revealed with modding and OC support, but it can scale to 4K, but on average it’s a high-performance card with roughly a 10% improvement. Depending on the partner model to be tested, 12% to 13% we also found that the frequency this year is somewhat overwhelming, but NVIDIA driver updates generally match game updates without major updates. For example, AMD’s Navi still contains some basic issues related to basic tasks like fan curve settings, and driver packages must be improved before giving XT the most balanced award. Overall good, so if you get Best Overall, however, AMD still has a lot of room for improvement in the GPU department. I want some of that CPU money to go to RTG. But this category corresponds to 2070 Super. The RTX 2070 Super offers useful features useful for other applications, except for its generally favourable position in the game. CUDA Acceleration has been updated recently to significantly improve rendering speed in software such as Adobe Premiere and Blender to make better use of recent CUDA. Especially 2.81 blenders. Turing’s NVENC solution is also a major improvement over the previous generation, providing an easy solution for recording or streaming the same system video if you can’t save CPU resources. In tests conducted by friend EposVox on YouTube, NVENC’s video quality is great for capturing streaming and gameplay. It said finally, most instances tested on the RTX 2070 Super have access to high-resolution 4K games, which are relatively refreshed at low resolutions.

Best enthusiast modding:
RX 5700 Find AMD RX 5700 on Amazon (Powercolor Red Dragon)

The award is given to Best Enthusiast GPUs. For this purpose, select RX 5700 non-XT. The RX 5700 checks a lot of boxes, but we like it most as a dedicated tuning card. The 5700 uses a combination of BIOS flashes and power play tables that can be modified to approach RX 5700 XT levels of performance without extreme cooling. Of course, the 5700 XT has a power-play table opportunity, but the 5700 can be unlocked via artificial segmentation locks using the mod, so you are not bound by the number of computing devices, but rather can meet the 5700 XT performance inbound games. In most games, the 5700 XT is still at the forefront, but the 5700 can get close enough not so important. The 5700 is also great for comparison games. In our partner card tests, the PowerColor Red Dragon had the best performance with a price of about $ 360 USD MSRP but a holiday sale of $ 350. Red Dragon was well suited for heat, noise, and gaming performance and provided the headroom needed to bring greater overclocking through the card. All of this, the 5700 non-XT GPU is already great, but despite AMD’s efforts, I like it most with the accidental support of the enthusiast mediation community. It’s enough to use in general, but anyone who enjoys tuning and playing hardware should consider the 5700 GPU. The main notable ones here are: I win these awards based on a literal GPU, which means silicon, not video card or PCB. But I want to emphasize the RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin card. If you have a budget close to $ 1800 and are interested in the type of overclocking performed on live streams, the Kingpin 2080 Ti is the dream card of a true lover in 2019. It’s not the best enthusiast tuning solution, and it’s already pre-modified, so anyone interested in large overclocks with stock liquid coolers or liquid nitrogen should match the 2080 Ti Kingpin. JayzTwoCents and I used this card in a live overclocking battle stream and we really enjoyed working on it. Does not fit the characteristics of today’s award.

Best midrange: GTX
1660 Super Find NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super on Amazon (MSI Ventus)

Best Mid-Range Awards are awarded to the GTX 1660 Super. We think the middle price range is in the $ 200- $ 300ish segment. Of course, this is incredibly subjective but somewhat subjective in terms of personal wealth, but despite the unfortunate departure of the industry in this pricing structure, the old price has established an apparent “best” at $ 500.Sniper 4K 1660 Super ReviewThe closest AMD competitor to the GTX 1660 Super is the RX 590, while the RX 580 is the overclocked RX 480. The 1660 Super is not only power efficient for performance, but it can also replace RX. Typically 590 frame rate and frame time interval. The 1660 Super comes with the annoyance created by NVIDIA’s own 1660 (I think it’s mostly useless at this point) and 1660 Ti (most definitely not used at this point). The improvement of the 1660 Ti is about 2% to 4.5% on average, so you don’t have to waste your thoughts on headspace. The 1660 Super achieves almost all the performance of Ti, but at a fraction of the cost. Lack of performance is not meaningful. The 1660 Super is generally suitable for 1080p games with high refresh rates. The 1660 Super also performs well on 1440p tests and scores 60 FPS north on almost every title tested. Cards with resolutions higher than 2560×1440 are not recommended.

Best Budget: GTX 1650
Super Find NVIDIA GTX 1650 Super on Amazon (MSI Ventus)

If 1080p is more of his style, he will be awarded the GTX 1650 Super Best Budget Award. The 1650 Super is priced at around $ 160 USD and typically manages performance to meet the RX 580 or within a few percentage points above or below it. The RX 580 8GB card is priced everywhere, but for the most part, it’s around $ 180 and there are a few products for $ 160. They fade in and out, further limiting the argument, but the approximate equivalence of the 1650 Super with reduced power footprint and a modernized feature set wins the budget category. The $ 150 price range is an important price for PC builders who want to maximize performance without exceeding the total build cost of $ 500- $ 600. At this price point, trade-offs are essential, so with 1080p displays, you can sacrifice higher resolution performance for good value and performance.

The Greatest Disappointment – Radeon VII & GTX 1650
The award for the biggest disappointment is divided into two ways. We called the names AMD Radeon VII and NVIDIA GTX 1650 non-Super, who started and died in 5-6 months, were “quotes.” Dead On Arrival.

Radeon VII was disappointed for a number of reasons, but the main reason is that it started slowly on February 7, 2019, and gradually disappeared from the store from May to July. When super refresh occurred about nine months after the first RTX release, many talked about the “buyer’s remorse” for the initial buyer of the RTX card. Radeon VII says that even the latest adopters of the RTX series “know what wasn’t bad.” This is mostly a good reason for AMD. The RX 5700 XT helped to minimize Radeon VII performance in the game, but the price was $ 400 instead of $ 700. AMD has significantly improved performance at a lower cost. However, Radeon VII was the last step in shoes to discard and dump the remaining silicone, or to meet the requirements of foundries and partners. Either way, Radeon VII was born out of numerous drivers that were not resolved before their initial death. We knew very little. And there’s a GTX 1650 non-Super, which we’ve said died because of its poor performance compared to the two-year-old RX 570 built on a three-year-old GPU. The GTX 1650 filled a single market, which had minimal GPU load handling capability with minimal low power video output. Our problem is that this reduced power consumption doesn’t mean much to budget buyers who are interested in maximizing performance without increasing costs too thin.1650 was uncompetitive with a ridiculous launch price of $ 150-170, so NVIDIA and AMD can share the award for their biggest disappointment. We send half of the cubes to each office and we can use CES or something like that.

Worst Trends: Video Card Naming and Meaningless Product Segmentation
Our next prize is for the worst trends in 2019. We have one of these for each year-end summary, and we’ve all had the worst trend recipients: meaningless product segmentation so far. The level of granularity we’ve seen in every category this year, from PC cases to confuse buyers.

1-year product segmentation nvidiaIntel may think there will be no competition for the announcement of the Intel Core i9-10980XE, but think again. NVIDIA is working hard to compete. In the last 13 months, NVIDIA has released the following list of video cards.RTX Titan X, RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 Super, RTX 2080, RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2070, RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2060, GTX 1660 Ti, GTX 1660 Super, GTX 1660, GTX 1650 Super, GTX 1650The company also released Quadro RTX 4000, RTX 5000, RTX 6000, RTX 8000, and Tesla T4, but don’t worry because they’re actually spaced out. Demonstrate that the professional community does not meet the needs of the gaming community. Nvidia believes there is a desire to mislead and confuse buyers by launching products at nearly $ 20. Even though the 1660 Ti offers between 2% and 4.5% improvement in the 1660 Super, 1660, 1660 Ti and 1660 Super still exist with each other, so even the survival of the different solutions has been confusing. That level of division is totally unnecessary. If not different enough, it should not exist. The reason this happens is that Nvidia is launching a pseudo new product to launch a new product because it has found that a simple price cut is relatively boring and has less coverage. Where NVIDIA took the wrong step was a decision to save many of its predecessors. The company technically killed the RTX 2080 non-Super and 2070 non-Super. But the RTX 2070 non-Super is back from the dead. The 2060 and 2060 Super were both alive. The entire 1600 series is alive. With about 13 cards on the GeForce line for a year, NVIDIA has enough devices to confuse buyers and wonder if they are buying the most expensive card within their budget. After all, it’s an easy solution, not spending time researching potentially five cards at the $ 150 price point. The only company with much higher product density is Nova’s Bitfenix, which has 26 configurations at the $ 40 price point. Either way, we want to find a way for NVIDIA to be less confused next year. It is better to reduce it more aggressively when replacing existing SKUs to provide constructive feedback. Nvidia will announce a refresh rather than announcing a price cut. You can get more benefits from the price cuts, but reviewers can stop complaining about name confusion. Oh, and stop making 1080 This. We liked that card a lot but don’t need 2 replacements. We will provide Honorable Mention to AMD reference cooler for Biggest Disappointed But this is bypassed by the partner model, so it is not disappointing.

Conclusion As
one commenter pointed out in the video upload of this content, the GTX 1080 Ti has ruined us over the years. This card is no longer available, but there are still many good cards. But I hope 1080 Ti will happen again someday. Currently, the RX 5700 XT and 5700 non-XT offer price-sensitive options, the RTX 2070 Super offers the most balanced feature set (more mature drivers), and the rest is covered in the low budget section.
