Apple, which launched the iPhone 11 series, is expected to take Huawei in second place in the global smartphone market in the fourth quarter, according to a foreign investigator, quoted a market researcher’s Trend Force report.

According to the report, TrendForce predicted Apple will sell 69 million iPhones in the fourth quarter, and the market share will be 18.7%, up 6.3% from the third quarter.

On the other hand, Huawei, which is struggling with sales outside of China due to US sanctions, is expected to have sold only 55 million units in the fourth quarter of this year, and its market share will decrease from 18% in the third quarter to 14.9%.

In addition, Samsung Electronics is expected to rank first in the fourth quarter following the third quarter, with Oppo (9.8%), Xiaomi (8.2%) and Vivo (7.2%) ranked third to fifth.
