Microsoft plans to stop supporting Cortana apps for iOS and Android in some of next year’s memory, according to foreign media.

According to reports, on January 31, Microsoft will stop supporting Cortana apps in eight countries: the UK, Australia, Germany, Mexico, China, Spain, Canada and India. If support is discontinued, Cortana will be removed from the MS Launcher app for Android.

The Cortana app is also used to configure settings and update firmware for devices like Microsoft’s Surface headphones. Microsoft didn’t comment on how Surface Headphone users can continue to access these features in countries with high support.

iOS and Android Cortana apps were officially released in 2015, but are not yet available in Korea.
