Due to the hard-to-eliminate security ills, Adobe Flash Player has stepped out of the historical arena.

A BUG document shows that the Mozilla Foundation plans to disable the Flash plugin from FireFox 69, and this version is expected to be released on September 3 this year (the latest stable version is FF64).

Of course, the deactivation will start with Nightly builds, and the stable version ends.

Previously, Firefox has decided to completely remove support for Flash in 2020, with the consumer version first and the long-term support version (ESR) at the end of 2020.

In fact, starting with Firefox 47, Firefox made adjustments to html5 migration, Flash content needs to be manually clicked to activate the display.

Statistics show that in January 2011, Flash usage was 28.5%, and has now fallen to 3.9 %.
